Did you know that you may qualify to get our hospital strength Advanced Double Electric Breast Pump free through your health insurance?
The Affordable Care Act (ACA) is a health insurance reform that requires most insurance plans to cover the cost of pre- and post-natal preventative health services, such as breast pumps and breastfeeding supplies. Pregnant and postpartum women may also have access to comprehensive lactation support and counseling from trained providers.
The law requires that a breast pump is covered through your insurance. The type of breast pump or your total reimbursement amount is determined by your insurance provider and the plan that you have. Your plan may cover a manual, single electric, double electric and/or a rental breast pump.
Every insurance plan is different and Durable Medical Equipment (DME) providers can help. They work directly with your insurance to see what is covered by your individual plan. DMEs can help guide you on your insurance coverage and potential out-of- pocket expense for your breastfeeding supplies.
A Durable Medical Equipment (DME) provider, is a regional or national participating provider for most insurance plans providing medical supplies, including breast pumps and breastfeeding accessories to pregnant and postpartum women.
Working with a DME can help simplify the insurance verification process. The DME will contact your insurance company to verify coverage and reimbursement, as well as talk with your doctor to collect all necessary paperwork. The DME can guide you through the breast pumps that are covered by your specific plan, as well as provide upgrade options based on your coverage. Once all of the details are completed, DMEs will ship your pump to your door. Typically, a pump can be shipped 30-60 days before your due date, but ship dates will vary based on your insurance plan.

When it comes to breast pumps Evenflo’s #1 priority and focus is Protecting Your Milk Supply! That is why the Evenflo Hospital Strength pump was designed with the support of a Lactation Consultant to include 4 essential features you always want to look for in a breast pump!
Each pumping session can be personalized with the AdvancedControl™ multi-phase technology, which provides independent speed and suction controls to maximize milk expression by promoting multiple let downs (or milk releases). The Advanced Double Electric Pump includes multiple, velvety soft silicone flange sizes to give you a custom fit for maximum milk expression and comfort. This innovative pump's PerfectlyPure™ closed system design prevents milk from spraying or back flowing into the tubing or motor, which can potentially cause the growth of bacteria, viruses and mold. Also included is a battery power option so you don’t miss a pumping session when you are not near an outlet.
All of this, combined with 2 FREE Full-Length Online Breastfeeding and Pumping Classes by Shari Criso (RN, CNM, IBCLC) makes the Evenflo Advanced Double Electric Breast Pump the ideal pump for all moms.
